George Hu (traditional Chinese: 胡宇崴; pinyin: Hu Yu-wei) was born on 24 July 1982 in New York. He is an American-born actor of Taiwanese descent based in Taiwan. He is managed by First Media Corporation (第一媒體國際有限公司). In 2009, he became a member of the music band "Wu Hu Jiang" (武虎將 / Tiger Team), co-working with leader Benji, Bo Yan, Shao Xiang and Si Wei Hong Zheng. They are all cast members of the 2009 hit series, K.O.3an Guo.
George Hu was born and raised in New York City and received his bachelors in Computer Science at St. John's University. He visited Taiwan after graduating where he was scouted and began his acting career. He speaks fluent Taiwanese and Mandarin, as well as English.
